Messy Church is a service for children and young families – meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month, 4-6pm in the hall.
Messy Church is a ministry that started in the UK in 2004, & spread to lots of different countries. Messy Church is about being church for families who might want to learn more about the Christian faith, but not sure if traditional Sunday morning church is for them. It’s a once-a-month time of creativity, worship & eating together. It explores the Bible through:
- creativity (including a range of craft activities)
- celebration – a brief service where we find out more about the theme for the day.
- eating together – we have a simple dinner together
- all in an all-age context
Our next Messy Church is Sunday 15 December (4-6pm). This is a special Christmas version (Messy Christmas!) where we’ll be having an impromptu Christmas Pageant. Just turn up in Christmas costume, or there’ll be some costumes provided.
If you would like to attend or offer to help, it would be super helpful if you could register here.
